- Depiction: In the series "Déjà Vu," Julia HUNG continues her exploration of "free will" by intuitively constructing web-like sculptures using flexible and fluid copper wire. These works not only embody the present but may also manifest as "memories of the future." Incorporating weaving techniques passed down from her grandmother, she delicately outlines the metallic material like threads, creating semi-perspective copper wire sculptures that form an autonomous microcosm, naturally revealing a sense of space. In her post-pandemic reflections, Julia HUNG gradually shifted from critiquing societal issues to introspection. Her abstract copper wire weaving works allow her to explore the subtle relationship between individual free will and the artist's consciousness, prompting a re-examination of the essence of life and art.
