The nine-tailed fox is recorded as one of the auspicious beasts that appear in the world when the emperor’s virtue is great, and the number nine is also associated with prosperity and the flourishing of descendants. It is considered a spiritual creature that signifies positive omens. So, what might the childhood of a nine-tailed fox have looked like? Perhaps, with a smaller body and weaker strength, it would have had fewer tails. Imagining this, a very cute young fox came to mind.
