- Depiction： The baku is said to be a spiritual beast that eats nightmares. In the past, people would place images of the baku or the character “獏” (baku) under their pillows, or lay prints of the baku character under their pillow, while they slept. So what kind of dreams does the baku itself have? I imagined it sleeping on its favorite pillow in its celestial home, and created this work with that vision in mind.
