C-Square-I

Carsten came to Taiwan in 2023 to participate in the Mizuiro Residency Program. During his time in Tainan, he was influenced by the local living environment. Inspired by the vibrant street signs in Tainan, he included more rich colors into his paintings. His work transforms flatness into three-dimensionality and stillness into movement, allowing viewers to reconsider the deep relationship between images and colors.
