- With regards to the reflection series (“With regards to the reflection” series), components cast from stainless steel are fully systemized. Under industrial tool bits and stamping press processes, bearings are further installed into the item prior to the stainless steel repeatedly being polished and smoothed until the surface shines (which then reflects light of its surroundings). After exerting external force on the assembled piece, implicit balance provides a subtle interaction between the user and the piece. The active and passive mechanisms between the user, the assembled work, and the external force allow the object to move flexibly, which is only hindered after kinetic energy is fully depleted. The sculpture must be activated yet again to exhibit such flexible movements.
