Artist Liang Jen-Hung graduated from the Graduate Institute of Plastic Arts atthe National Tainan University of the Arts in 2002. During his studies, he transitioned his worksfrom two-dimensional paintings to three-dimensional mechanical installations, seeking the drivingforce for the operation of his artworks from the natural world. Through precise and rationalpresentation, he expresses the spiritual dimension of natural energy. The " Transformation baby " series exhibited at theArt Taipei this time represent a breakthrough in the artist's integration of different media, surpassing the development based solely on metallic elements. By combining the "With regards to the reflection " series, previously published by the artist, with wooden materials, he introduces a different temperature.Due to the various uncertainties presented by different wood species, such as weight, density, andlong-term preservation issues, Liang Jen-Hung engages in meticulous artistic thinking and precisecalculations. Through modular components, any individual piece can be freely connected withother components, forming larger wholes and different modes of movement, simulating naturalevolution. These sculptural symbols constantly change, flow, and transform. Upon carefulobservation, one will discover that these symbolic elements form their own system, seeminglyrepeating amid endless variations, returning to the path of the evolution of things and the flowof life.
