LU Haur-Wen graduated with a master's degree in industrial design from the University of Cincinnati, USA. He has long studied figure painting and sculpture, and through observation and experience of life, as well as continuous experimentation and self-dialogue, he has developed his own artistic vocabulary. By scaling proportions, simplifying contour lines, and making changes to forms, he creates minimalist yet interesting sculptural works. At the same time, he uses different materials and textures to present a variety of styles and characteristics. In recent years, he created a series of works based on the twelve Chinese zodiac animals, including the sculpture "Rabbit," which features simple, soft lines and a smooth bronze surface to depict the gentle nature of the rabbit. He has collaborated with Apollo Art Gallery to participate in art fairs in Taichung and Tainan.
