After its establishment in 2009, Gallery Seek has participated in art fairs and events, presenting artists in a multifaceted manner.
In 2020, as a joint project by the representative Shiono and painter Kenta Nakajima, who is of the same generation, and with the cooperation of many companies including avex, they launched the ARTIST NEW GATE competition for a new era.
Currently, the gallery is located in Caretta Shiodome, a complex facility that includes various types of restaurants, shops, theaters, and an advertising museum. There is an English proverb, “Seek a knot in a bulrush,” which means to look for a non-existent problem. However, we have adopted the phrase “Seek a knot with art,” with the hope of connecting and solving problems through art. We plan and disseminate exhibitions that showcase the charm of artists.
