- Depiction： I painted a cat, using the Japanese Shichi- Go-San ceremony, which celebrates my daughter's third birthday, as the motif. It's a joyous day to celebrate a child's growth, but she looked very uncomfortable, surrounded by unfamiliar clothes and places. One day, I happened to see a cat whose expression vividly reminded me of that day. The cat's dissatisfied look as people took pictures, saying 'How cute, how cute,' was exactly the same as my daughter's expression back then.
