One day, I had a chance to make a sketching trip to one of the remote islands in Okinawa after I moved there. The blue ocean and a vast sky looking so high impressed me very much.
A weatherd tree standing on a sunset beach especially attracted my attention. Their contrast was making a beautiful landscape. I wanted to make it into a piece of painting.
If I intend to express my feelings by describing the landscape in detail, choosing oil paints might be better.
On the contrary, I expressed the reality of the golden landscape and dynamic space through the painting elements of materials and texture, rather than through descriptive expression.
