Leonardo da Vinci dedicated much of his life to developing hydraulic systems, designing innovative water-powered machines. In the 15th century, before steam engines, water power was essential, and many buildings were built along rivers to harness it. This work draws inspiration from da Vinci's unfinished hydraulic manuscripts, showcasing his gear system concepts. Liu Shiuan Shi brings these ideas to life, creating a mechanism with varying speeds through interconnected gears. The artist uses a disc to symbolize waterwheel power, connecting it to the gear mechanism, which demonstrates the machinery's operation. The small house represents riverside buildings of that era, designed to collect and convert water into energy. The materials used in the artwork include: 1. A radio used on a U.S. Navy warship 2. An antique winding machine 3. An antique textile machine
