Wang Yichun has been immersed in the art of calligraphy since childhood. Her father, Wang Hongyi, is a renowned ink painting master in Chiayi, and she has studied under calligrapher Li Yaoteng. She has received numerous accolades, including first place in the Calligraphy category at the 2018 National Taiwan University of Arts Faculty and Student Exhibition and the Gold Medal in the Ink Painting category at the National Art Exhibition. In 2021, she inscribed the phrase "Ox Turns the World Around" for the Presidential Office’s Spring Festival couplets. "I see calligraphy as the path my heart follows. In an era where the art is gradually declining, I hope to be both an inheritor and a rebel, presenting the spirit of calligraphy in a broader and more expansive way," Wang Yichun remarked.
