- Depiction: Intersection Time is as miniscule as specks of dust; and a few of them would always collide, separate, and reunite again. Like people in a crowd, we might already have met someone before our first encounter, and such an intriguing connection could be coincidental or accidental. While everyone‘s time flows forward, one’s orbit of time would always expand horizontally and cross another‘s. And when they touch upon each other in a certain point of time, it transforms the development of the story. Certain elements always appear in my work, and somehow they are uniquely symbolic. They could be seen as grey areas which stemmed from both tangible and abstract elements. I am also interested in the uniqueness brought by the ambiguity of grey areas, as they create a depressing and vulnerable sentiment. These are all vocabularies that were rinsed by an unfinished state, and have more or less prevented me from being kidnapped by the traditional framework of painting.
