In 2014, guided by Ai Ya's writing, YANG reconnected with plants, using printmaking to depict their graceful forms. Unlike Ai Ya's words, Yang's imagery evokes an awareness of the environment and memories of childhood closeness to nature. Night Blossom captures the breathless stillness of a bloom in the night.
