Liang Zhao-Xi (1953) was born in the Solomon Islands and resided in Hong Kong from 1965 to 1976 before relocating to Paris in 1976 to study at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts. His work has been shown at the Crown Art Center, Door Art Space, Up Art Gallery, Fairmate Art Gallery, and Red Gold Fine Art, among other significant art institutions in Taiwan and abroad. From a close distance, his light, heavy, slow, sharp, hooking and turning charcoal strokes transcend the typical drawing pattern to reveal a sense of spacious life.
