Zhancheng Yan

Yan Zhan Cheng Born in Yan'an, graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 2008, and now lives and works in Beijing. Yan Zhan Cheng's creations are rooted in subconscious depictions, which include memories of his hometown, love of literature, and intuition of color. Past experiences are silently incorporated into his paintings, forming his unique painting language. The events in his works are not given standard answers, or perhaps there are no standard answers, but rather, he hopes that the viewers will communicate with the paintings based on their own experiences.
