Skilled in depicting various scenes to recreate the emotional consciousness of that moment, Liang Yu Hsuan abstracts the imagery from hue, auditory cues, and objective time. Not only does he reconstruct a lifelike painting space, but his works also possess a counter attribute of deconstruction, presenting spatial narrative in a more cryptic manner, enticing viewers to explore his painted world. Inspired by Nobutsugu Okamoto's "Critical Gas—Time and Space," Liang Yu Hsuan is captivated by the fragile and eternal states depicted in the artwork. Starting from 2016, he embarked on a creative series themed around "bubbles," delicately laying out a sense of "ephemerality on the brink of collapse." In his artwork, he presents a blend of various illusions and uncertainties arising from factors like the self and the environment, while also portraying personal emotional consciousness in different scenes. The translucent bubbles seem weightless yet carry an undeniable spiritual depth. The space devoid of human traces allows consciousness to spread through mere flows of light, air, and temperature. The realistic painting style eliminates brushstrokes, as well as the boundary between reality and illusion, while the refined imagery fully embodies the train of thought. In this indefinable time and space, the artist, through the stroke of the brush, slowly records myriad uncertainties. Amidst the clear and sudden overlapping, the artworks simultaneously depict the states of consciousness and unconsciousness. Like mirrors, the paintings reflect not the material appearance but the consciousness, spirit, and extremely subtle flow paths. They earnestly convey a worldview that remains steadfast amidst nature and constraints.
