Chinese Matisse, the International Master Liang Yi-Fen, will be displayed his latest works of “Golden Beauty” in this exhibition. With smooth and passionate brushstrokes, he uses vivid colors to depict women’s limbs’ postures and body gestures, representing their charms. The characters in the paintings are strong in emotions, passionate, and saturated with life force. Each painting is a situation, a memory, and a story. More importantly they are narratives that touch people’s heart, being representative of his works.
In addition to painting, Yi-Fen Liang has engaged in 3D sculptures in recent years. His new works - bronze sculptures - are presented officially in 2018, with Lotudit Art Gallery as the sole agent. Professor Liang’s sculptures retain the emotions captured in his paintings. Representing all sorts of charm, postures, and situations of women, he transforms them into 3D sculptures, which interchange with viewers’ internal feelings, constituting a tranquil and therapeutic atmosphere.
