Uwe Mertsch, born in Germany, graduated from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, a school that has produced many modern and contemporary art masters, including Joseph Beuys, Gerhard Richter, Tony Cragg, and Yoshitomo Nara. He has lived in various regions across Europe, South America, and Asia. His rich creative inspiration comes from the details of everyday life. The diverse cultural experiences and living environments have fueled his boundless creative energy. He has exhibited his work in France, Spain, the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, Pakistan, Nigeria, and other countries.
In 2013, Uwe Mertsch held his first solo exhibition at Apollo Art Gallery.
