Over the past decade, it has become an iconic representation of the Pier-2 Art District and even one of the most penetrating symbolic images of the entire city of Kaohsiung.

In his artistic practice, Chen Ting Jin primarily uses three-dimensional sculpture as his main form of expression. His creative inspiration stems from internal exploration and self-understanding. He delves into philosophical questions about "how one becomes human" and uses various art forms to reflect on and record his internal contemplations, showcasing his creative thoughts. Recently, he has primarily employed wood carving as his main creative medium, creating a closer connection between the medium and the theme, demonstrating his unique insights and persistence in the artistic creation process.
