Sun Woo Kim

Kim SunWoo was born in South Korea in 1988, graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Dongguk University, and now lives and creates in South Korea.

Kim SunWoo has conducted in-depth research on the dodo, combining his own experience to create works in which the complex jungle image represents unpredictable risks and uncertainties, and the dodo is an individual and an observer of this jungle-like modern society in a landscape where the jungle and the city are intertwined. Based on this, the artist captures various stories and messages about the dreams and freedom of modern people, and questions the nature of modern society through the image of the dodo.
