「My artworks are made up of several variations and their combination.
The series of plant and dark screen represents the image of generation and vanishment
from the sourceーcolored lower halfーwhich contains both the substance and emptiness.
In the series of the bird's-eye view of the city, I expressed an organic movement of the whole city
over the course of time. It is an attempt to recognize the city as an extension of
life phenomena and turn it into a painting.
While working on the above major abstract themes, I put my very personal feelings
into the series of urban landscapes. The series appeal to the viewer's sentiment
rather than following a verbal theme.
Past few years, I have been painting dark forests.
I hope the series will sublate the above-mentioned big themes and personal feelings,
but I am not sure how it will turn out yet.
