One of Spain's most iconic contemporary artists, Kiko Miyares, began to gain popularity and attention in the art world after his first solo exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao in 2002. In 2010, he joined the Guggenheim Museum's assembly department and has continued his artistic journey as both a painter and sculptor. His rich heritage and the fact that he has been honored with the Aldeasa National Prize for Painting, among other awards, have led to major museums and galleries all over the world offering him an olive branch to collaborate with him.
