Inseob Lee is a renowned South Korean artist who has dedicated over 40 years to creating art inspired by nature. Nestled in the forests and valleys of Eoseongjeon, Gangwon Province, his studio provides the wellspring of inspiration for his works. Lee masterfully fuses Eastern philosophy with abstract art to explore the relationship between nature and humanity, often using ashes to reflect the ephemerality of life.
Throughout his illustrious career, Lee has held 36 solo exhibitions and participated in over 500 group and international exhibitions, including Art Central HK,KIAF, ART021, and the Busan Biennale. He has served as a judge and chairman for various prestigious art competitions, such as the Korean Art Exhibition, and has received numerous awards, including the YeChong Arts and Culture Award and the Art Culture Contribution Award.
