Huang-Sheng Su, born in 1987 in Taiwan, currently resides in London, UK. He graduated in 2017 from the Department of Ink Painting at the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts, Taipei National University of the Arts. His solo exhibitions include "Visual Chronicles" at INK Studio, Beijing in 2020, and "The Stratagem of an Empty City" at Red Gold Fine Art in 2019. He has participated in various group exhibitions, such as "The Clamorous Solitude: A Century of Taiwan Nihonga" at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum in 2024, "The First Half Score: 10:10" at the Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab (C-LAB) in 2023, "Let Me Tell You a Story: The Clouds Are Gone" at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum in 2022, and "Interweaving and Overlapping Memories: Post-Martial Law Ink in Taiwan" at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in 2017. He was awarded the Honorable Mention at the 2022 CTBC Contemporary Painting Prize and was selected for the Asian Cultural Council (ACC) fellowship in 2019, where he completed an artist residency in New York, USA.
