Born in 1974 in Montreal, Canada. In 2000.
Graduated with a degree from the Institute of Design at the University of Demers. In 2009, graduated from the Université du Québec à Montréal with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Fascinated by Japanese art, he moved to Japan 15 years ago, where he continues to work and produce art. Influenced by Japanese prints from the Meiji and Taisho periods, he uses the lifestyles and customs of westernized modern Japan as motifs for her paintings, as well as modern Japanese young women's beauty pictures. He also turned his attention to the daily activities of Japanese people and began taking photographs.
“Still Life” series aims to capture those emotions that are lost in time. In 2022, he published his first book of photographs, “Dedale". In 2023, he will publish “Balades/Osanpo,” a art work.
Exhibited in Italy in a dual show at the Japanese consulate in 2024. And in France a group show at Galerie Nadar in 2023 and at Asniere sur Toiles in 2019. And has had multiple solo shows in Japan.
Eric has two roots, in Canada and the other in Japan, and work expresses the way people live in today's.
