Born in Okayama in 1996.
Moved to Kyoto in 2015 when entered university. He began working as a graphic designer, while still in school, working on CD jackets and clothing illustrations. In 2019, graduated from Kyoto Seika University with a bachelor's art degree.
Currently based in Tokyo, working as a contemporary artist.
While presenting works mainly in alternative spaces, he won for The CAF Award 2018 and Idemitsu Art Award 2020.
Main forms an installation and performance, uses acrylic, spray, video, photography, wood, and canvas as techniques. “Still Life” series, in which he prints anonymous photographs of people from the Internet and paints cracked faces, has attracted much attention. Works are in the Yusaku Maezawa’s Collection.
He is dealing with the theme of destruction and creation, life and death, using ruins and zombies as motifs to address the issue of loss of identity that contemporary Japanese society is facing.
