Sunny Art Museum is located on the site of a former ceramics factory. In 1994, the location was transformed into a professional art gallery with the help and contribution of friends from the architecture and designer. In November of that year, Sunny Art Museum became the center for cultural
and creative industry that it is today.
The museum's business activities include gallery operation, exhibit planning, and promotion of the arts. As a gallery, Sunny Art Museum primarily acts as an agent for Taiwan’s contemporary and modern artists. The museum also has a team of professionals to plan art exhibits for clients in both public and private sectors, as well as to promote everyday aesthetics and public art projects.
In its 24-year history, Sunny Art Museum has methodically organized over one hundred art shows, providing professional exhibit planning and sales services for artists and all varieties and types of art. Outside of that, the museum organizes talks and lectures for each different type of exhibit to give the public a better understanding of arts and culture. Prominent artists currently employing Sunny Art Museum's services include Tsai Ju-kung, Liang Yifen, Japanese artist Koso Sato, Kao Yung-chung, Bernard Bordenave , Man li CHAO , Cheng wel TSAI , Sherry CHEN, Lu chia CHAO, Chang,Tien-Chien, Dao Ming CHUANG,Vega HSU, Po,Chiao-Ling.
While it is noted for its gallery services, the past few years have seen the museum make generous contributions, irrespective of costs, to the promotion of the arts-sponsoring fine art exhibits, arts lectures, volunteer training, and museum guided tours. The museum has also actively engaged in fostering arts groups and designing artistic spaces at major local companies, such as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp., Accton, and Faraday. The museum's roots have
grown throughout the Hsinchu area over the years, bringing opportunities for gallery goers to
better understand the arts while giving the nation's artists more diverse and professional outlets to
exhibit their talents. Since its beginnings in 1994, Sunny Art Museum has turned from a typical workshop to a cultural and creative industry center. The success and efforts of the museum's team members have earned high esteem in the business community and amongst the general public. But
more encouragement and more support is always appreciated. Only with that can Sunny Art
Museum continue to play a vital role as a campaigner for Taiwan’s arts scene.
