Huang You-Kai（Huang Chi-Jen）love towards reading history, geography, and especially books related to extraterrestrial civilization have inevitably revealed in his drawings with images, characters or words that he had absorbed or self-developed from his inner heart in the early days. Meanwhile, You-Kai’s drawings are also innocent due to his fastidiousness caused by obsessive-compulsive disorder. So he only likes simple ball-point pens of different colors and color pens as the drawing tools. In his drawings, you cannot see advanced technique, but simple and yet colorful strokes.

Most importantly, You-Kai’s creations are beautiful because he wants to express his inner feeling and thoughts on pieces of white paper directly, allowing them to become pieces of unique drawings. If only you could watch them quietly, you would be able to feel the world seen by this big boy, the things he loves and the pure essence that lies within his body.
