Artist Hung Yi uses three-dimensional sculptures as his canvas, applying Taiwanese traditional cultural symbols, vocabulary and bright colors to his unique animal-shaped creations to convey the local customs, culture and joyful atmosphere of Formosa, integrating art into life. The aspects of these works that are worthy of appreciation include: media and techniques (hand-forged steel plate and paint process), shapes and images (joyful and playful animal images), symbols and meanings (Taiwanese local cultural characteristics).
