Ke Yanru's works often attempt to depict the subtle emotions between humans and nature. Through the outlines of pen and ink, the artist can weave stories like writing while painting, and the pictures have a narrative quality. In the past two years, the author has begun to go into the mountains and forests, which has made her view the relationship between groups and individuals, nature and living creatures. However, what remains unchanged is that she still has a very delicate view of people and this island of survival. When she entered the mountains and forests, she felt like she was returning to the memories of climbing mountains with her family when she was a child. All the creatures and plants seemed to be in dialogue with her, which led to a series of creations.
