Born in South Africa (1976) Works mainly in oil paintings

Olaf's technique is masterful and focused, and his creative sources mostly revolve around landscapes. The real strength of his work lies not in the mountains and sky, but in the state of mind of the viewer. Bisschoff works in a wide range of applications, and in addition to oil painting, he also dabbles in printmaking, animation and sculpture. Constant innovation and application of new thinking can be seen in his use of found objects, stained glass and Plexiglas elements in his work. There is a hint of humor and irony in his works, revealing his perception and comments on modern culture and life. Currently living in Malmö, Sweden.
