Fu Ning was born in Taoyuan, Taiwan, in 1995, and received her master's degree from Taipei National University of the Art Department of Fine Art in 2023. Fu Ning's art may be interpreted as a mirror of the modern world, in which social media is used to continuously photograph and record our daily lives. Her paintings are based on her experiences navigating in a sea of overwhelming information, mostly from the Internet. Therefore, the scenes in her paintings are similar to those we encounter every day. She has created a new visual universe through her artistic endeavors that form our identities in a virtual world where nothing is truly virtual.

Fu Ning has received numerous awards in the past decades, including the 2024 Tainan Next Art Award, the 2022 SANCF Award, the 2021 CTBC Contemporary Painting Award, the 9th Grand View Emerging Artists Award, and the 2021 Contemporary Art Prize.
