Born in 1979 in Penghu, Taiwan, I draw my creative inspiration from my life experiences. Growing up in a fishing village on a remote island and being part of a family engaged in fishing, the sight of fish and the sea became an integral part of my life. This deep connection to the ocean gives my work a unique emotional resonance. Consequently, many of my creations feature ocean-related themes, and this focus continues to evolve.
My "Rain" series primarily explores the possibilities of different media, using urban rain-soaked street scenes as the subject matter. I strive to capture and convey the sense of humidity that extends beyond the canvas. Through these works, I aim to depict the unique emotions and atmosphere of rainy days.
