Aron Demetz was born in 1972 in the renowned religious sculpture town of Vipiteno in northern Italy. He studied at the Nuremberg Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of Professor Christian Höpfner. In 2009, he represented Italy at the Venice Biennale in the Italian Pavilion.
Aron Demetz consistently examines the relationship and characteristics between humans and nature, gradually transcending the absolute reliance on Western traditional thinking to focus on the relative relationship between the internal and external, actively interpreting the essence of life. He appreciates the texture and characteristics of materials, bringing visual and intellectual impact and reflection to viewers through natural processes. His works have been exhibited and collected in museums and art galleries across Europe, as well as in Taiwan.
